Andrew Abercrombie is a leading Australian entrepreneur and renowned advocate of corporate philanthropy. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1976.

Raffiuddin Ahmed

Rafiuddin Ahmed is a student at La Trobe University studying toward a PhD in Social Business and Innovation in the Department of Marketing. He plans to graduate in 2018.

Jacinta Allan

Hon Jacinta Allan MP is currently Minister for Public Transport and Minister for Major Projects in the Victorian Government. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe University in Bendigo, and is a member of the Class of 1995.

Julie Andrews

Dr Julie Andrews is a Lecturer of Aboriginal Studies and Anthropology at La Trobe University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1992.

Greg Barber

Greg Barber MLC is the Leader of the Victorian Greens. He holds a Bachelor of Science from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1990.

Jeff Brownrigg

Professor Jeff Brownrigg is one of Australia’s foremost exponents of Australia’s sound and culture. Currently, he teaches Museum Studies and also Cultural Heritage Interpretation at the University of Canberra. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from La Trobe University, and is a member of the Class of 1970.

Andrew Cameron

Andrew Cameron OAM is a highly decorated nurse and humanitarian-aid worker. Andrew is currently the Director of Nursing at Birdsville Hospital in Queensland. He holds a Bachelor of Nursing from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1991.

Tasneem Chopra

Tasneem Chopra is a Cross Cultural Consultant and Social Justice Activist. She holds a Master of International Development from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 2012.

Inga Clendinnen

Dr Inga Clendinnen AO was a writer, academic and historian whose work on Aztec and Mayan cultures and the Holocaust have been praised around the world. She was an Emeritus Scholar at La Trobe University.

David Corlett

Dr David Corlett has many years of experience working with asylum seekers and hosted SBS’s Go Back To Where You Came From. He holds a PhD in Politics from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1998.

Bronwyn Curtis

Bronwyn Curtis is an economist whose career spans both the financial markets and media. She holds a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1970.

Eddie Custovic

Dr Eddie Custovic is an academic and industry project manager in the School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at La Trobe University. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 2007.

Jenny Dawson

Jenny Dawson is a non-executive director with current experience on listed, government and not-for-profit boards. She holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from La Trobe Bendigo, and is a member of the Class of 1985.

Jasmine Dawson

Jasmine Dawson is the Director at Kaleidoscope Human Rights Foundation. She holds a Bachelor in International Relations from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 2013.

Catherine Deveny

Catherine Deveny is a writer, comedian and feminist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1992.

John Dewar

Professor John Dewar is Vice-Chancellor and President of La Trobe University, a position he has held since 2012.

Maree Edwards

Maree Edwards is the elected Member for Bendigo West representing the Australian Labor Party. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 2000.

Tim Entwistle

Professor Tim Entwisle is Director and CEO at the Royal Botanic Gardens. He holds a PhD in Botany from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1986.

Ahmed Fahour

Ahmed Fahour AO is currently the Managing Director and CEO at Australia Post. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1987.

James Fazzino

James Fazzino is Managing Director and CEO at Incitec Pivot Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1986.

Helen Fazzino

Helen Fazzino is Managing Partner, People, Partnerships and Culture at PwC. She holds a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1987.

Gordon Franklin

Gordon Franklin is La Trobe University’s oldest Indigenous graduate. He holds a Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Laws from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 2016.

Sarah Fregon

Sarah Fregon is the CEO of the Victorian Bar. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Legal Studies from La Trobe and is a member of the Class of 1994.

Michelle Gallaher

Michelle Gallaher is the Creative Director and Co-Founder of The Social Science. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from La Trobe, and is a member is the Class of 1989.

Terry Garwood

Terry Garwood is a Deputy Secretary in the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. He holds a Diploma of Arts (General Studies) and a Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary), and is a member of the Class of 1978.

Jane Gazzo

Jane Gazzo is a radio presenter at Triple M – Southern Cross Austereo. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1994.

Jamila Gordon

Jamila Gordon is a Director and Global Chief Information Officer at GetSwift Limited. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Information Technology) from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1995.

Danielle Green

Danielle Green MP is the State Member for Yan Yean and Parliamentary Secretary for Regional Victoria, Tourism and Major Events. She studied Politics at La Trobe in 1987 and 1988.

Samantha Grover

Dr Samantha Grover is a soil scientist and a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Life Sciences at La Trobe University. She holds a PhD in Agricultural Science from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 2007.

Matthew Guy

Hon Matthew Guy MP is the leader of the Victorian Liberal Party. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1995.

Bronwyn Halfpenny

John Higgs

John Higgs OAM is the President of the Board of Bendigo Art Gallery. He is an alumnus of Bendigo Teachers’ College, and is a member of the Class of 1967.

Bill Kelty

Bill Kelty AC has had a long career in the union movement as a board member of several private and public companies. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1967.

Craig Langdon

Cr Craig Langdon is a Councillor at Banyule City Council and is a lifelong resident of Banyule.

Carmel Lawrence

Carmel Lawrence works with indigenous children in the Northern Territory. She holds a Bachelor of Education from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1985., Carmel Lawrence works with indigenous children in the Northern Territory. Conny Lenneberg

Conny Lenneberg is a regional leader for World Vision for the Middle East and Eastern Europe Programs. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1978.

John Mckenzie

John McKenzie AM, FAA was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia in 2011 in recognition of his service to higher education through administrative roles to professional associations and to the community. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and PhD in Genetics from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1969.

David Morgan

David Morgan is Executive Chairman for JC Flowers (Europe and Asia Pacific). He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1969.

Meg Morris

Professor Meg Morris is a Professor in Clinical & Rehabilitation Practice. She holds a PhD in Public Health from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1996.

Anne Parkin

Anne Parkin is a non-executive director. She holds a Bachelor of Science, Botany, and is a member of the Class of 1977.

Susan Pelka

Susan Pelka is an Independent Board Director at Emergency Services State Superannuation Board. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1975.

Elizabeth Proust

Elizabeth Proust AO has held senior leadership roles in the private and public sectors for over 30 years. Elizabeth is Chairman of Nestle Australia, Bank of Melbourne and Australian Institute of Company Directors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1975.

Geoff Raby

Dr Geoff Raby is an Australian economist and diplomat. He currently runs a Beijing-based business advisory firm. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) 1977, Master of Economics 1981 and a PhD in Economics 1991 - all at La Trobe.

Deborah Radford

Deborah Radford is a Non-Executive Director and a Council Member at La Trobe University. She holds a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1976.

Tony Radford

Dr Tony Radford AO has built a career in biotechnology, holding executive roles in the management of commercial research and development in the medical field. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a PhD in Biological Sciences from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1979.

John Richards

John Richards OAM is a major donor and former jackaroo, soldier and farmer. Mr Richards’s benefaction has led to the establishment of the John Richards Initiative in Aged Care in Rural and Regional Communities at the Albury-Wodonga Campus. He was awarded an Honorary Degree from La Trobe in 2015.

Brittany Romas

Brittany Romas is currently studying physiotherapy at La Trobe University’s Bendigo campus. She is also a La Trobe student ambassador.

Radek Sali

Radek Sali is the former CEO at Swisse Wellness Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Cinema Studies) from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1997.

Robin Scott

Hon Robin Scott MP is the Minister of Multicultural Affairs and Finance in the Victorian Government. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1995.

Jennifer Seberry

Emeritus Professor Jennifer Seberry is known as a pioneer in mathematics, cryptology and computer science. She was the first woman and first mathematician to complete a PhD at La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1969.

Tony Sheehan

Hon Tony Sheehan is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Euro Pacific Strategies. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1970.

Lisl Singer

Lisl Singer is a retired social worker and donor. Her ties to La Trobe University go back to 1972 when her husband, Professor George Singer, was appointed Foundation Professor of Psychology at La Trobe.

Rob Stephenson

Rob Stephenson is the Head of Bendigo Campus, La Trobe University. He holds a Bachelor of Business from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1984.

Olga Tennison

Olga Tennison is a major benefactor of The Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre (OTARC) at La Trobe, named in her honour. She remains connected to the University and continues to provide generous financial support.

Timothy Thomaidis

Timothy Thomaidis is a current third year student at La Trobe University working towards a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of International Development. He plans to graduate in 2017.

Ken Waldron

Ken Waldron is an agricultural scientist and consultant. He holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1977.

Geoff Walsh

Geoff Walsh AO has built an impressive and dynamic career spanning politics, government, the media and business. Geoff continues to serve on a number of boards. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology) from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1974.

Jennifer Williams

Jennifer Williams AM is a non-executive director and is a La Trobe University Council member. She holds a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1970.

Patricia Woolley

Dr Patricia Woolley is an Emeritus Scholar at La Trobe University. Patricia was the first Zoologist appointed at La Trobe, and has been involved with the University since 1967.

Paul Yip

Professor Paul Yip is the Director of the Centre for Suicide Research and a Professor at the University of Hong Kong. He holds a PhD in Maths and Information Sciences from La Trobe, and is a member of the Class of 1989.

Khatijah Yusoff

Professor Yusoff is a highly distinguished microbiologist. She holds a PhD in Microbiology and has received an honorary Doctor of Science. She is a member of the Class of 1984.
